Somebody somwhere

Every imagine what else is going on in the world? Maybe, probably...but it is funny to open your mind to think of all the things that may happen every minute, somewhere in the world. As we speak somebody just bought a new computer, stepped on a nail, found a bug in their food, shaved for the first time, lifted weights then looked at their self in the mirror, told a bad joke, found out their child died, popped a bubble, posted a picture of their ultrasound online, found money on the ground, ate sushi, found out they had a deadly disease, ignored a phone call, spilled wine on someone, told another bad joke, broke an ikea desk after having trouble putting it together, got a text from a boyfriend breaking up with them, changed the channel, or maybe just woke up to go get married today. So many things are going on in the world around us and we know of only what we choose to know. Lets open our minds, open our hearts, and gain awareness of the troubles and joys of our communities and the communities afar.

Ask questions and make the most of our daily lives.

  1. Howdy my bald headed son! You forgot to factor into your hair-loss rant that your father and all of his brothers, and your grandfather, have full heads of hair. Don't think just because your Momma's side of the family lost their hair early that so too will you follow. Ye of little faith...and apparently hair.

As for the newest posting; you are very correct that while we are writing this blog entry a million or so things have happened in millions of places. Not the least of which is your family missing you.

Thanks very much for the Father's day text, it was very special and greatly appreciated.

Your little brother has a new sweetie (Junni) and she and Mike have been hanging out a lot lately and seem to be having a great deal of fun. It is nice to see Mike happy and we enjoy having him and Junni around. She is a very sweet young lady and cute as a bug (old people talk for hottie).

Aunt Lisa and Gus and David are in town so we have been over there hanging with the gang. Grandpa is slowing down but still in the game and Gma is her Energizer Bunny self.

I have your care package almost ready and trying to get you some more jerky but Bel Air is out and I am looking for more. I assume you only want that brand since it is your friend's company. If not, please advise so I can get the box in the mail.

All else is good and your brother Phil actually answered an email I sent him last week. The reply was very much a surprise and I am glad he was able to share some of his feelings with me.

OKay Baldy...we miss and love you and hope all is well with you and the job, teaching, learning, eating, modeling, and life's journey is all you hoped it to be.

    Love,

    Dad

  2. I was just thinking the same while listing to DMB's new song "funny the way it is".

Love your stories, thoughts, and rants.
