Arent you lonely? Arent you bored?

Let me rant for a second. I have called home, to friends or family, and keep getting asked the damn question: Arent you lonely? Are you Bored out there all alone? Man, I LIVE IN A CITY OF 15 million people. Why you so damn worried about me being lonely? I have never once, not once, said I was lonely...or bored. So why would I now, during the biggest time of my life when I am happier than ever...you think I am going to bored? I am not going to write, or call home, and tell you "hey a friend took me to yoga today" or "hey I just had lunch with someone...yay!" I am not even going to write on my blog about many things I do or who I am with.Man. Yall are on my nerves. Alright, sorry for getting Kanye on you guys. Hahaaaaaaa. I love yall

  1. Bored? That would be my last question to you. It sounds like your days are pretty busy and entertaining. I can't wait to hear more. Good luck, and buy a dictionary ;)

  2. Aloha Nick, I am still holding my sides from laughter and can only asy that you are "DA MAN" for being so adventurous! It sounds like many of take for granted the simplist things in a our daily lives and overlook the many challenges that one coul dface while living abroad.

I can appreciate your "loney rant" and will make sure to stay away from such chatter unless we hear you tell us differently.

I am happy to see some of your friend's and family are following your progress (or lack of progress in the fish tank episode) and hope this blog gives all of us some laughs and some insight on how the world looks from your eyes. At my age, it looks a bit blurred but I did see the eye doctor recently and so hopefully the new glasses will give me some clarity.

All is well here and Mike is preparing for his Senior Community Camp for his Christian Service requirement. He has chosen to do the summer camp verses the semester during school as you did. Hopefully he and his Jesuit Brothers have a good time and make some meaningful contributions during their journey.

I'm trying to get the sprinklers redone for the Gfolks and hope to have a green yard soon for them. Your 20 gallons of fish water could have gone to good use but alas...you are using it to form the world's lagest indoor mosquito pond. GPa is doing better these days but has slowed down a bit. His back is better so that helps out a lot. GMa is her old incredible self and never complains. I think GPa complains for her.

When you get time, please drop me an email include some things we can send your way so we can get the 1st Dumbo Drop care package headed your way.

Take good care of yourself and know we are always here if you need us. We remain your biggest fans and are so very proud of you and marvel at your many achievments. Live it up while you are young and the experience will pay huge dividends.

    Love, Dad
